The 2016 season was the 10th in EKL history. It featured the continued dominance of Mountain Side, as they completed a 3 peat. The Fog Devils competed throughout the year with Oligodendrocyte, Happy Endings, Loma Verde, and El Hebrew Hammer for 2nd place, finally settling into 3rd to end the year, and led the league in strikeouts.
