The 2011 season showed promise for the Fog Devils as they again built a pattern of success from the previous season. The team finished 5th out of 10 teams with 60.5 pts. The Fog Devils may attribute some of this improvement to better use of the waiver wire as they won the Biggest FAAB Spender award, and also finishing 1st place in steals with 198. June 19th - Oligodendrocyte sent Aramis Ramirez in exchange of Coco Crisp.
August 3rd - Flash Bash & Gas traded Carlos Pena to the Fog Devils for Brian Roberts.
August 10th - Happy Endings sent a blockbuster of Dustin Ackley, Logan Morrison, Mike Moustakas, and Julio Teheran in exchange of Dustin Pedroia and Mariano Rivera. It was unknown at the time, but an illegal minor league contract forced Fog Devils to drop Julio Teheran.
