The 2007 Fog Devils season was the inaugural season of EKL in which the Fog Devils finished 6th out of 8 teams with 37.5 pts. Of note, the Fog Devils finished last in Stolen Bases with 103. It was not all bad, as the Fog Devils acquired some players who would be pivitol in years to come. June 11th, Oligodendrocyte send over Al Reyes for Ken Griffey, Jr.
July 2nd, Diamond Ducks traded John Maine, Joe Nathan, and Richie Sexson to the Fog Devils in exchance for Carlos Beltran and Gary Sheffield.
Rivalries[]
The 2007 season was the spark to some long lasting rivalries, some of which are still evident today. Most notably, the owners of the Fog Devils and El Hebrew Hammer engaged in some epic trash talking. A fued also quickly developed with team Balco Bombers.
